FREELANCE CLIENT PROJECT
Wedd.ai
Redesigned and improved a B2B SaaS client website, enhancing navigation, layout clarity, and overall usability across desktop and mobile. Developed responsive interfaces in Webflow and refined interaction patterns while establishing consistent typography, colour palettes, and visual identity elements. Created supporting digital assets and infographics, ensuring cohesive brand communication and engaging user experiences.

Problems/Pain Points:
1. Outdated Digital Presence
The brand's online identity felt detached from its personality. The old design lacked energy and modern appeal, failing to capture and reflect the brand's identity of helping wedding planners with an AI tool.
2. Weak Brand Connection
The visuals and messaging didn't work together to create an engaging story to capture audiences. Users didn't feel emotionally connected or inspired to explore.
The Solution
1. Redefined Visual Identity
Introduced a bold and modern design using Inter and a redefined colour palette giving the brand a minimal and professional tone to resonate with its audience.
2. Meaningful Brand Storytelling
Every section communicates a purpose and is clearly defined. The new design bridges emotion and functionality. Through improved UX and a well-structured layout with plenty of breathing space, the user journey was made intuitive and visually engaging.

DESIGN PROCESS
USER PERSONA
Defining a user persona and their needs and pain points helped with the information architecture for the website. It ensured that the design decisions for the website addressed the real user needs for the product.

USER JOURNEY
Plotting out the user journey for the Wedd.ai website ensured the site guides users toward clear value, creating a smoother path from curiosity to conversion. It also helped identify what information users would needed, allowing the website’s layout and messaging to be structured with intentional flow and clarity.

Client Requirements
- Modern
- Sleek
- Minimal
- Blending Technology and Weddings
Created a quick iteration of a tester section for the client to gain some visual direction
Refinement
Determined the colour palette after client feedback that the design leaned too much towards the "wedding" aspect and not the "technology" aspect. Client wanted a SaaS-aligned website rather than a wedding planner website. Client also wanted playful 3d illustrations rather than realism.
Kept the initial pink brand colour, and introduced a soft blue/purple hue to add to the "technology" element.
